CMJ in the Big Apple
October is my favorite time of year in New York. The weather is cool and clear, not too many tourists clogging the streets, and the heavy humidity is non-existent. The CMJ Festival began today and we helped kick it off with a short set in the Puck Building, where the conference registrants were picking up their badges, media was beginning to assemble, musicians were playing and college radio DJs were soaking up the music. Should be a fun week, especially our upcoming show on Friday night at an “indie” bookstore called the Housing Works.
Music can save the world.
